Das protea ist ein super Hotel direkt in Kapstadt in einer eher sicheren Zone direkt neben den kloof Street und Long Street. Zur Waterfront braucht man 10 Minuten mit dem Auto oder mit uber (ca60ZAR). Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber super. Wir hatten Blick auf den Tafelberg. Wow! Das ganze Hotel ist sauber, das Abendessen und er recht die milchshakes sind mega ! Außerdem gibt es einen super Pool zum entspannen und relaxen nach anstrengenden Tagen in Kapstadt.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was the best stay. We was welcomed by Fiona and Tatanda, the most amazing and friendliest people ever and at night we met Blessing. The staff service was outstanding and they was so helpful with everything. I can go on and on about the staff here and how amazing they are and they made our stay so comfortable. If I could I would give them more than 10 out of 10. I would definitely be making my way back here for future stay. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel allgemein In diesen Hotel haben wir drei Nächte geschlafen. Die Lobby, Bar und Café sind schön und in einer modernen nicht übertriebenen Eleganz eingerichtet. Lage Vom Dach des Hotels hat man Aussicht auf dem Tafelberg.Restaurants und Bars sind in der Nähe. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttle Service nach Camps Bay und zur Waterfront an. Transferzeit vom Flughafen circa 25 Minuten Service Check-in ging schnell. Leider war nur eines der beiden reservierten Zimmer schon fertig, so das unsere Freunde noch warten mussten. Gastronomie Frühstück war von der Qualität hochwertig. Pancake und verschiedene Eierspeisen (leckeres Ei Benedikt) wurden an den Tisch gebracht und konnten von der Karte bestellt werden. Sport, Pool & Unterhaltung Der Pool war recht klein, die Terrasse auf dem Dach nicht wirklich gemütlich. Da haben wir schon besseres gesehen. Es gibt auch noch eine Sauna und ein kleines Fitnessstudio. Das es 30 Grad war, haben wir die Sauna natürlich nicht benutzt. Saunakultur im Ausland ist immer ein kompliziertes Thema. Aus Neugierde folgende Frage, Ich gehe davon aus, das man in Südafrika nicht nackt in die Sauna geht, wie in Deutschland, Skandinavien und Russland, oder? Zimmer Das Zimmer war recht klein, aber hell eingerichtet. Sehr nervig war die Glasschiebetür die das Bad abgetrennt hat und sehr schwergängig war. Auch konnte man sie nicht richtig schließen, so das eine Lücke blieb.

Das Hotel ist perfekt für meine Geschäftsbedürfnisse. Mein Zimmer war sauber und hatte alle Einrichtungen, die ich benötigt hatte, plus ein super komfortables Bett (mein Highlight). Das Personal war immer lächelnd und zwingend. Frühstück war ein düsterer Ausdehnung ... wird definitiv zurück.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr sauber und günstig gelegen.. wir hatten mehrere Zimmer gebucht und darunter ein kleines Apartment mit Galerie und kleine Küche. Alles da und sehr schön eingerichtet. wir hatten Geburtstag und zum früchstück gab es eine nette Überraschung für meinen Mann fand ich sehr süß.. Vielen dank..
